Want to get involved in GenreCon 2013? We’ve extended the closing date for discount registration and program participant sign-up until 5:00 pm, Friday, August 9.
Volunteering for the program is a great way to meet other writers and publishing professionals, give back to the genre-writing community, and help guide the ongoing conversations about writing and getting published that are an integral part of the GenreCon weekend.
We’re accepting volunteers who are interested in participating in and moderating discussion panels, running workshops, and taking part in our pitching programs. Experience is great, but GenreCon is dedicated to representing writers at every stage of their career, so we’re interested in hearing from you regardless of what you write or how much you’ve had published.
To coincide with the revised closing date for program volunteers, we’ve extended the discounted registration price of $250 for a weekend pass until midnight, August 9th.
This is your last chance to register for this year’s GenreCon at a discounted pre-registration price – starting from August 10th the price of a pre-registered weekend pass will rise to $285.
Have you had a book published this year? Do you run a small press or journal? Don’t miss out on the opportunity to promote your author or publisher brand in the 2013 GenreCon program!
