Sad news for all fans of the man behind the hugely popular Discworld series. Author Terry Pratchett has announced that he’s been diagnosed with a rare form of early-onset Alzheimer’s.

Making the announcement on friend and illustrator Paul Kidby’s site, Pratchett has asked that people keeps things cheerful and remember that he ‘ain’t dead yet’.
