  • Read and Write Own Poem
    Poetry competition for school students. Age groups: 11 and under, 12 and over.
  • Bush Lantern Award
    This competition is for bush verse. Each poem must have good rhyme and rhythm and an Australian theme. 100 lines maximum. Submit three copies of each poem with an entry form.
  • KSP Speculative Fiction Awards

  • Cottesloe Literature Prize
    Free entry open to any age to combine creativity and local knowledge and contribute to the collective history of the Cottesloe, Peppermint Grove and Mosman Park areas. Entries either prose or poetry set in the past or present, may include photographs and other illustrations. Categories: Open, Year 1-7, Year 8-12, Poetry, Prose. Local History Award Open and Student.
